.Candles and Mirrors. Tobey was stretched across the bed, one hand propping his head up, elbow resting against the pillows. It was late into the night. But neither he, nor Rick were sleeping. Both were piled onto Tobey's bed, the light of a few candles illuminating the room. The light flickered faintly, and Tobey glanced up at Rick for a moment, a brow arching slightly. “Do you think they are going to get this power cut sorted out before morning?” he asked sceptically. Rick shrugged, and then snorted faintly, “Probably not, this place is bloody useless. Remind me to never let you pick the hotel again.” Rick grumbled. Tobey smirked slightly and
.The Escape. The almost silent hall way was empty save for the person that had been making the only noise around to be heard. A lone guard was propped in his chair, situated outside the heavily bolted door at the end of the dank corridor. Drool hung from one corner of his mouth, a loaded rifle was resting
carelessly against one shoulder, his head leaning against the wall, and he was snoring softly. He
was all on his own tonight, all the other guards seem to have almost mysteriously called in sick,
or had been sent to other sectors of the lab. He didn't care so much anyway, he liked being on his
own, he had no family to call his own, so he was kind
.Not So Queer As Folk.  “Fag..” “Queer!”  I could heard the words muttered with scorn under the breath of the other students as I made my way down the hall. Book bag slung over one shoulder, blonde haired head bowed slightly. It was like this everyday, always the same jeers, the pushes, the looks of disgust from the jocks, and almost every other male in the whole damn year. I just haunching my shoulders and kept on walking, my eyes trained on my shoes as I walked.

I was trying to block it all out, act like I didn't care, but their taunts and malicious words struck something deeper inside me than I'd like to have admit. A sigh escaped partially

I really don't know about this one. XD I mean, I kind of like it, but I still can't help thinking that there is something missing. That there should be something else in the picture as well. I don't know, maybe I'm just being picky or something! It's nice enough, as far as I'm concerned. :) It's grown on me!
